Women Children and Youth Initiative (WCAYI) works with women through organized community and church-based groups to amplify women’s voices, identify barriers, and advance meaningful participation in decisions that affect their lives.
Through these groups, WCAYI creates safe and inclusive spaces where women can share their experiences, identify common challenges, strengthen collective action, and advocate for improved access to services, opportunities, protection, and their rights.
WCAYI recognizes women not simply as beneficiaries, but as rights holders, decision-makers, advocates, and agents of change. By connecting women with community leaders, duty bearers, service providers, and other stakeholders, WCAYI strengthens women’s capacity to influence decisions, demand accountability, and contribute to solutions affecting their communities.
WCAYI champions women’s engagement by ensuring that women’s lived experiences inform advocacy, programming, and decision-making because sustainable change happens when women are heard, included, and empowered to lead.
