Strengthening Community Voices

Strengthening Community Voices: Feedback Sessions in Obongi.

On December 8th, 2025, the Women, Children, and Youth Initiative Obongi conducted four community feedback sessions, engaging diverse members of the community including women, men, boys, and girls from both refugee and host communities.

These sessions provided a platform for community members to share their experiences and perspectives on service delivery in the area. Participants discussed what is working well, identified areas that need improvement, and contributed ideas to make services more responsive to the needs of all community members.

The interactive sessions fostered open dialogue, mutual understanding, and collaboration, allowing both community members and program staff to exchange valuable insights. This participatory approach ensures that initiatives implemented by the organization are inclusive, relevant, and effective in meeting the needs of women, children, and youth.

At Women, Children, and Youth Initiative Obongi, we are committed to listening to the voices of the community and using feedback to strengthen our programs. By engaging directly with people, we ensure that our services empower everyone regardless of age, gender, or background and contribute to a more resilient and connected community.

Together, we continue to build stronger partnerships, better services, and a brighter future for all members of Obongi.
